Approximately Up is a sandbox spaceflight game where you design, build, and pilot your own modular spacecraft, alone or with friends in co-op, to explore a vast solar system.

GameplayYou design spacecraft from a single frame outward, assembling thousands of components like engines, sensors, and power systems into complex or chaotic vessels. You then pilot your creation in first-person from the ship's deck to complete missions such as transporting volatile cargo across planets. Success earns new parts for your collection, letting you build more capable ships to undertake longer journeys and tackle greater challenges across 15 unique worlds.

StoryThe game casts you as an intrepid spacecraft engineer and pilot starting from Earth. Your goal is to push into a new solar system, establishing a network of stations on exotic planets by completing delivery and exploration contracts. The narrative emerges through your progression, unlocking new worlds and confronting the environmental hazards of each planet as you expand your reach across the cosmos.
